Read a direction, then examine its conditions
The Chariot gathers competing impulses into a direction. Progress depends on steering, not on removing every tension first. You may be ready to act decisively once you know the destination and which distractions you will stop following.
Use an outcome position responsibly
An outcome card can summarize where a pattern seems to lead if relevant conditions continue. It cannot guarantee an event or tell you what another person will choose.
- Name the present pattern that the card appears to describe.
- Consider what could disrupt or complicate that pattern: Reversed, effort can scatter or become a contest of wills. Pushing harder will not fix a missing direction, and controlling everyone else is no substitute for self-command.
- Identify a choice that remains open to you: Choose one destination for this phase and one boundary that protects your attention.
