Read a direction, then examine its conditions
The Six of Pentacles examines how resources, help, and opportunity are distributed. Giving and receiving can support a fair exchange, but the roles may carry different amounts of power. Look at the terms of the help as well as the goodwill behind it.
Use an outcome position responsibly
An outcome card can summarize where a pattern seems to lead if relevant conditions continue. It cannot guarantee an event or tell you what another person will choose.
- Name the present pattern that the card appears to describe.
- Consider what could disrupt or complicate that pattern: Reversed, generosity may carry hidden expectations, or one person may contribute far beyond their capacity. An uneven exchange is easier to change when its terms become explicit.
- Identify a choice that remains open to you: Clarify what is being offered, what is expected, and whether both sides can freely agree.
