Explore the motive without assuming it
The Moon appears when a situation is only partly visible and imagination fills the gaps. Dreams, impressions, and emotional reactions can be worth exploring without treating them as evidence. Move carefully until you can distinguish the path from the shapes in the dark.
Look for intention expressed through choices
An intention is a possible direction of effort. It becomes easier to assess when a person states it and follows through.
- If you are reading for yourself, name what you want to bring about and why.
- If you are asking about someone else, separate what they have said from what you hope or fear they mean.
- Look for a repeated choice that supports the stated intention, and leave uncertainty visible where it remains.
