The Moon at work
Request missing details before committing to a story about an ambiguous situation. Document what is known and what remains provisional.
What to notice in the situation
The Moon appears when a situation is only partly visible and imagination fills the gaps. Dreams, impressions, and emotional reactions can be worth exploring without treating them as evidence. Move carefully until you can distinguish the path from the shapes in the dark.
Apply the reading to a real work question
Ground the interpretation in the task, people, and conditions in front of you.
- Name the actual decision: a conversation, a task, a responsibility, or a possible change.
- List the information and constraints the cards cannot establish, then identify how to check them.
- Choose one proportionate response: Identify one assumption that can be checked through observation or a direct question.
When the working pattern becomes difficult
Reversed, confusion may be lifting, or a fear may be repeating so loudly that it feels factual. Clarify one uncertainty at a time instead of forcing a complete explanation.
