Read a direction, then examine its conditions

The Six of Swords moves toward more manageable conditions, often before every feeling about the past is resolved. A transition can be quiet and practical. You may carry lessons and unfinished emotions with you while still choosing a route that gives them more room.

Use an outcome position responsibly

An outcome card can summarize where a pattern seems to lead if relevant conditions continue. It cannot guarantee an event or tell you what another person will choose.

  1. Name the present pattern that the card appears to describe.
  2. Consider what could disrupt or complicate that pattern: Reversed, a transition may be stalled by practical barriers or by returning to the same unresolved issue. Identify what is actually needed to continue rather than calling the delay a failure.
  3. Identify a choice that remains open to you: Choose one practical step toward calmer conditions and name the support needed to take it.
