Page of Swords as Outcome

Read a direction, then examine its conditions

The Page of Swords is alert, questioning, and ready to investigate. A detail that others miss may become useful when followed carefully. Curiosity works best here when it remains willing to learn rather than turning the first clue into a confident accusation.

Use an outcome position responsibly

An outcome card can summarize where a pattern seems to lead if relevant conditions continue. It cannot guarantee an event or tell you what another person will choose.

1. Name the present pattern that the card appears to describe.
2. Consider what could disrupt or complicate that pattern: Reversed, inquiry may become gossip, compulsive checking, or an argument made before the facts are ready. More information is useful only when you know what you are trying to establish.
3. Identify a choice that remains open to you: Ask one precise question and check the answer against the available evidence.
