Explore the motive without assuming it
The Page of Wands explores what might be possible before a fixed identity or plan has formed. An invitation, experiment, or fresh interest deserves attention. Let enthusiasm lead you into learning rather than pressuring a first attempt to prove a permanent calling.
Look for intention expressed through choices
An intention is a possible direction of effort. It becomes easier to assess when a person states it and follows through.
- If you are reading for yourself, name what you want to bring about and why.
- If you are asking about someone else, separate what they have said from what you hope or fear they mean.
- Look for a repeated choice that supports the stated intention, and leave uncertainty visible where it remains.
A motive worth examining
What would I try if the first attempt were allowed to be simply a first attempt?
